Signature Inn San Francisco Marina District

Stayed here for 4 nights. The room was clean, though fairly small (we has 2 double beds), and the only thing really missing (apart from a safe in the room) was a comfy chair to sit in. Other than a solitary hard desk chair we had to sit on the beds. That said, there is a great outdoor seating area on the top floor - which no-one but ourselves used while we were there. The location is perfect, one block away is Chestnut with cool bars, restaurants and shops, and a few block away in the other direction is Union Street with more of the same. Plus you’re a short walk from the Bay, Presidio and the Palace of Fine Arts. Overall, a good hotel in a great location.

The location of the hotel is excellent — we were able to walk everywhere easily. The rooms are quite small and there is only one ceiling light, so there’s no separate bedside lighting, which makes the room feel a bit impractical at night. Also, the bathroom doors don’t fully close, so privacy could be an issue if you are traveling with someone other than your partner. That being said, the room was clean, comfortable, and it was sufficient for our stay.

This place exceeded my expectations. Everything suited our needs. We like to spend most of our time sight seeing than hanging in the motel room. This place offered modern decor, clean rooms, comfortable beds, a wonderful shower and lots of cozy pillows. And the receptionists were friendly and helpful. Location was awesome with plenty of shops and eateries around. Parking was limited, but we were lucky to find a space. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit.

Let’s start with the pros of signature inn. The location of this is inn is great! You are close to all types of cuisines, the beach is near by, the night life is chill, the fine arts museum is close by, and you can walk to almost any place and not be disappointed. The service is great all my questions were answered. Now the cons, I am female and conditioner is a must for my hair. Shampoo alone leaves my hair dry. The room amenities are fine but missing the conditioner. The pillows for the room were too flat for my liking. Our room had not cold water coming the bathroom sink. I the knob under neath the sink was shut off. A quick turn and we had cold water in our bathroom sink. Also, the sun in the morning is really bright even with the blinds closed.

We stayed in room 201 this weekend for two nights and it was very relaxing and room was clean. We also loved the nice color schemes in room and the decor inside. We had no issues at all and staff was very friendly. We will for sure stay again in the future. Thank you so much!

We visited in summer and we were very satisfied with our room and the overall value for money of the motel. The outside sitting area is charming. The motel is ideally suited for access to Presidio Park and the walk to Fisherman's Wharf is not too strenuous. The only slight caveat regards the parking; we got parked easily enough on arrival but it took a deal of vehicular gymnastics to get out the morning we left.

Very nice balance between quality and price. It is an older motel that has been renovated and remodelled to a certain degree. The room was spotlessly clean, which I believe is important. And therefore very nice. The owner is also very kind - he let us check in a bit early as he had a room ready. The room has a comfortable bed, a to, small desk and a chair, walk-in closet, iron and iron board. Clean bathroom also. The place has 10+2 parking spots (First come first serve) for free. Which is awesome. Also it has a roof top patio, which is nice. Even though the inn is located on Lombard Street the hotel rooms are very quiet - can’t even hear people around you in the other rooms. Overall an excellent stay.

Good location with clean rooms. Parking is a bit tight but free if you get there soon enough. Neighborhood is great, walkable and safe.
